New trial tests if radiation can spare bladders from surgery

NCT ID NCT07008833

Summary

This study aims to find out if a combination of radiation and chemotherapy works as well as complete bladder removal surgery for treating muscle-invasive bladder cancer. It will involve 336 adults with this type of cancer. The main goal is to see if the radiation approach is just as good at keeping the cancer from spreading, while potentially allowing patients to keep their bladder.
