New drug duo aims to shrink tough bladder cancers before surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether giving two drugs, enfortumab vedotin and pembrolizumab, before surgery can help people with advanced bladder cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink or even eliminate the cancer in the lymph nodes before the bladder is surgically removed. Researchers believe these drugs, which help the immune system attack cancer, may work better together than alone.
