New program aims to boost medication adherence in bipolar disorder

Summary
This study tests a customized program called Customized Adherence Enhancement (CAE) to help people with bipolar disorder take their medications as prescribed. About 190 participants who have trouble sticking to their medication will be randomly assigned to either the CAE program or usual care. The goal is to see if the program improves medication adherence and overall functioning.
