Heated needle aims to seal biopsy wounds in High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT05790109
Summary
This study aimed to test a technique that uses heat to seal the needle path after a biopsy of the liver, kidney, or spleen. The goal was to reduce the risk of bleeding, especially for patients with conditions that make bleeding more likely. The study planned to ask both doctors and patients about their experience using this heat-sealing method during the biopsy procedure.
