Light therapy device put to the test for arthritis pain relief

NCT ID NCT06915012

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a device that emits 'biophotons' (a type of light energy) can reduce chronic severe arthritis pain. About 102 adults with long-term arthritis pain will use the device or a placebo during sleep for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels, quality of life, and inflammation to see if the therapy works.
