Summary
This study compares two types of prosthetic hands—standard myoelectric and bionic—in 22 adults with below-elbow or wrist amputations. Researchers will measure hand function, satisfaction, fatigue, and how much the body compensates with shoulder or neck movements during daily tasks. The goal is to see if bionic hands with more grip options reduce extra movements and improve quality of life.
