NCT ID NCT06684730
First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two types of prosthetic hands—standard myoelectric and bionic—in 22 adults with below-elbow amputation. Researchers will measure hand function, quality of life, satisfaction, fatigue, and how much the body compensates with shoulder or neck movements. The goal is to see if bionic hands, which offer more grip options, reduce extra body movements and improve daily task performance.
