First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is collecting blood samples, brain wave data, and medical history from over 1000 people with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME) across the UK, Europe, and North America. Researchers will compare this information with data from 2000 people without the condition. The goal is to find the genetic causes of JME, which could lead to earlier detection and better treatments.
