New device aims to seal painful anal fistulas for good

Summary
This study is testing a device called BioHealx® to close anal fistulas (abnormal tunnels between the intestine and skin near the anus). About 50 adults aged 18-75 who have a single fistula that has failed previous treatment will receive the device. The main goal is to see if the fistula stays closed and does not come back, and to check quality of life related to bowel control.
