Can a weekly Mind-Body Tune-Up ease Seniors' back pain and improve their walk?
NCT ID NCT06782919
Summary
This study aimed to see if a specific training program could help older adults walk better and manage chronic low back pain. Researchers planned to compare 20 older adults with back pain to 20 without, measuring their trunk control and walking mechanics. Participants would have received weekly biofeedback training for four weeks, which uses real-time feedback to help people learn better control of their posture and movement.
