New combo therapy hopes to shrink tough lung tumors

Summary
This early-phase study tests whether adding the experimental drug binimetinib to the immunotherapy pembrolizumab can help shrink tumors in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 40 participants whose cancer has a specific marker (PD-L1 ≥50%) will receive the combination. The main goals are to check safety, find the best dose, and see how well the treatment works.
