New study aims to help cochlear implant users pinpoint sounds more accurately

Summary
This study tests whether synchronizing a hearing aid with a cochlear implant helps people with hearing loss locate sounds better than using them without synchronization. Twenty adults who are new cochlear implant users will try both methods and compare results. The goal is to improve everyday listening, especially in noisy environments.
