First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of fitting a hearing aid and cochlear implant together in adults with hearing loss in both ears. The goal is to see if synchronizing the devices helps patients locate where sounds are coming from and understand speech better in noisy environments. Twenty participants will try both fitting methods in a random order to find out which works best.
