First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests the safety of a new drug called BIIB145, which is being developed for multiple sclerosis (MS). Since this is the first time the drug is given to people, it involves 104 healthy adults to see how the body handles it and if it causes any side effects. Participants receive either the drug or a placebo in single or multiple doses, with some parts also testing the effect of food. The study does not offer any treatment benefit to participants.
