Summary

This study follows 232 people with a bicuspid aortic valve (a heart valve with two flaps instead of three) over 10 years. Researchers want to learn how the condition naturally progresses and what factors lead to serious problems like valve disease or bulging of the aorta. Participants are monitored with regular check-ups, but no new treatment is given. The goal is to better predict who will need surgery in the future.
