Healthy men help scientists track how a new drug leaves the body
NCT ID NCT04771286
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-stage study looked at how healthy men absorb, break down, and eliminate a single dose of the drug BI 1015550 (Nerandomilast). Six participants provided urine and stool samples over several days to measure how much of the drug and its byproducts leave the body. The goal was purely to understand the drug's metabolism and excretion, not to test any treatment effect.
