Summary
This study tested over 1,000 people in Bhutan for H. pylori infection and stomach cancer risk using blood tests and endoscopy. The goal was to gather baseline data to help launch a national stomach cancer prevention program. Participants were permanent residents aged 12 and older from 24 villages.
