New hope for advanced breast cancer: phase 3 trial launches

Summary
This study tests a new drug, BGB-43395, combined with letrozole against standard CDK4/6 inhibitor combinations for people with advanced or metastatic HR+/HER2- breast cancer who haven't had prior treatment for advanced disease. About 1056 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The main goal is to see if the new combination delays cancer progression better than current therapies.
