New combo shows promise for rare, aggressive cancer

Summary
This study tested whether adding bevacizumab to standard chemotherapy (Folfiri) helps people with advanced, aggressive neuroendocrine cancer live longer after their first treatment stops working. 153 adults with this rare cancer took part. The main goal was to see how many were still alive after 6 months. The approach aims to control the disease, not cure it.
