Blood test could help doctors switch breast cancer therapy sooner

NCT ID NCT05977036

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple blood test can help doctors decide early on if a treatment is working for people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer (HR+ HER2-). About 65 participants will start standard therapy, and those whose blood test shows a poor response will be recommended to switch to a different treatment. The goal is to see if this early switch can extend the time before the cancer grows.
