New computer planning aims for more precise, less painful cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07171996

Summary

This study is testing a new computer planning method for a procedure that places tiny radioactive seeds into bones where cancer has spread. The goal is to see if this new planning approach, which also simulates the bone's strength, can better relieve pain and reduce complications compared to the standard planning method. The study will enroll 150 adults with painful bone metastases to compare the two approaches.
