New scan aims to pinpoint elusive Cushing's tumors
NCT ID NCT07463625
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of PET scan can better locate the tiny pituitary tumors that cause Cushing's disease. It will involve 20 adults already scheduled for surgery. The goal is to see if this scan is more accurate than standard MRI, which can miss these small tumors, to help surgeons plan the operation more precisely.
