Summary
This study tested whether a low-residue nutrition powder taken with a smaller amount of laxative (2 liters) works as well as the standard low-residue diet with more laxative (3 liters) for cleaning the bowel before a colonoscopy. 757 adults participated. The goal was to reduce side effects like bloating and nausea while still getting a clear view of the colon.
