New imaging tech aims to make artery stents last longer
NCT ID NCT05057637
Summary
This study is testing whether a high-resolution imaging tool called OCT helps doctors better plan and place stents in blocked leg arteries. It compares OCT to the standard X-ray method (DSA) in 25 patients receiving a stent. The goal is to see if the detailed pictures from OCT lead to different treatment decisions and might help predict if the stent will stay open longer.
