Summary
This study tested whether injecting betamethasone (a steroid) into a specific jaw space could lessen pain, swelling, and difficulty opening the mouth after wisdom tooth surgery. It involved 40 healthy adults with similar impacted wisdom teeth on both sides. The trial was terminated early, so results are limited.
