Scientists track Supplement's journey into Mother's milk

NCT ID NCT07243678

Summary

This study aims to understand how much of a dietary supplement called betaine gets into breast milk after a mother takes it. Researchers will measure betaine levels in milk at different times after a single dose and after taking it daily for a week at two different doses. The goal is to gather basic information about the supplement's safety and how it moves into milk, not to treat any condition.
