First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether a common dietary fiber called beta-glucan can improve how immune cells recognize and kill cancer cells. Healthy adults will take beta-glucan or a placebo daily for 4 weeks and complete three exercise sessions. Researchers will measure immune cell activity in blood samples to see if the combination offers extra benefit.
