Science tests which Post-Match recovery helps wrestlers bounce back fastest
NCT ID NCT07305506
Summary
This study tested three simple recovery methods wrestlers use between matches: foam rolling, static stretching, or just resting. Researchers measured 16 national-level wrestlers' heart activity, blood pressure, and jump power before and after matches to see which method helped their bodies return to normal the quickest. The goal is to give athletes and coaches clear, practical advice for tournament days.
