This study aimed to discover which of three specific leg exercises most effectively activates the thigh muscles in young fencers. Researchers measured muscle activity in 30 experienced fencers aged 18-24 as they performed different squat and kneeling exercises. The findings could help coaches design better training programs to boost performance and reduce injury risk in this sport.
