Summary
This study aimed to find out if lying on your side or lying on your back is better for a rectal exam. Doctors performed exams on 320 men with conditions like colon cancer or rectal bleeding, randomly assigning them to one of the two positions. The goal was to see which position allowed for the most complete and comfortable examination.
