New drug cocktail shows promise for rare, aggressive cancer

Summary
This study tests a new combination of three drugs (benmelstobart, anlotinib, and chemotherapy) as the first treatment for people with a rare and fast-growing type of cancer called large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, which can start in the lung or elsewhere in the body. The goal is to see how many patients' tumors shrink or disappear. About 48 adults who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease will take part. This is an early-phase trial, so the main focus is on safety and effectiveness.
