New drug duo targets hard-to-treat melanoma in phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests a combination of two oral drugs, belvarafenib and cobimetinib, in people with advanced or spreading NRAS-mutant melanoma who have no good standard treatment left. About 45 adults will take the pills daily in 28-day cycles to see if tumors shrink or stop growing. The goal is to measure how well the drugs work and how safe they are.
