First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study gives dental providers a special workshop to improve how they interact with young children (ages 2-10) and their parents during dental visits. The training is based on a proven program for managing child behavior. Researchers want to see if the training changes how dentists, hygienists, and assistants talk to and guide children. About 264 participants will take part, with some getting the training right away and others later.
