New program aims to ease the mental burden of type 1 diabetes for young people
NCT ID NCT05413239
Summary
This study tested whether a monthly coaching program could help teens and young adults with type 1 diabetes feel less stressed about their condition and improve their blood sugar control. Over two years, 217 participants aged 14-25 were randomly assigned to receive the coaching sessions either in the first or second year. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar levels, stress, and attitudes toward diabetes technology to see if the program helped.
