First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a simple bedtime mindfulness meditation could help people on hemodialysis feel less anxious and more spiritually well. 58 adults on long-term dialysis were split into two groups: one practiced guided meditation during their sessions for four weeks, while the other rested quietly. Results showed that meditation may be a safe, low-cost way to improve emotional health for these patients.
