Smart sensors could catch when vision patients give up on their aids
NCT ID NCT06107881
Summary
This study aims to see if remote training for using low vision devices (like magnifiers) works as well as in-person office visits. It also tests if small sensors attached to devices can detect when patients stop using them, so help can be offered sooner. The goal is to improve access to care and help people with vision loss better manage daily tasks like reading.
