NCT ID NCT02308527

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding the drug bevacizumab (which blocks blood vessel growth to tumors) to standard chemotherapy helps children with neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. It also looked at adding other chemotherapy drugs like irinotecan or topotecan, and the immunotherapy dinutuximab beta. The trial included 225 children aged 1 to 21 and measured tumor shrinkage and side effects. The goal was to find better treatment options for this hard-to-treat cancer.
