First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week virtual exercise program, combined with group counseling, can change the bacteria in the gut and reduce inflammation in smokers at high risk for lung cancer. About 65 people aged 50-77 who smoke or used to smoke will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and might help lower cancer risk.
