Summary
This study tested whether the BCG vaccine, typically used for tuberculosis, could reduce the amount of HIV hiding in the body (the latent reservoir) in people already on HIV medication. 60 adults with well-controlled HIV took part. The main goal was to measure changes in the size of this hidden reservoir 6 months after vaccination.
