This study looks at how photodynamic therapy (PDT) changes the immune system's reaction to basal cell carcinoma (BCC), a common skin cancer. Researchers will analyze tumor and blood samples from 28 adults scheduled for surgery to understand immune cell activity. The goal is to find better ways to combine PDT with other treatments for improved cancer clearance.
