Hormone Therapy's hidden toll: skin issues plague breast cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06690489

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study measured how skin problems caused by hormone therapy impact the daily lives of women with early breast cancer. Researchers surveyed 155 women from several European countries who had been on hormone therapy for 2-3 years. The women completed questionnaires about their skin symptoms and quality of life. The goal was to better understand these side effects, not to test a new treatment.
