New hope for KRAS lung cancer: first human trial launches

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called BBO-8520 in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (KRAS G12C). The main goals are to check the drug's safety and see if it can shrink tumors. About 350 adults will take part, and the drug may be given alone or with other treatments.
