New radioactive drug targets liver cancer cells in first human trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug, BAY 3547926, for people with advanced liver cancer that has a specific protein called GPC3. The drug delivers a small amount of radiation directly to cancer cells to kill them while sparing healthy tissue. About 148 participants will receive different doses, alone or with other treatments, to find the safest and most effective dose. The goal is to control the cancer, not cure it.
