Summary

This study compared two devices—a basket and a balloon—used during a procedure called ERCP to remove stones from the pancreatic duct in people with chronic pancreatitis. 104 adults with small stones (≤5 mm) in the main pancreatic duct took part. The goal was to see which tool clears stones more effectively.
