Can knowing your genetic risk ease cancer fears?

Summary
This study aims to see if telling patients with Barrett's Esophagus about their genetic risk of cancer affects their worry and quality of life. Researchers will collect tissue and blood samples during routine check-ups to create a risk model. Participants will be randomly split into two groups: one that gets their risk results and one that does not, to compare outcomes over five years.
