Summary
This study tested whether baricitinib, a drug that calms the immune system, can help people with active Sjogren's syndrome. About 87 adults were randomly assigned to receive either standard care (hydroxychloroquine) or baricitinib with or without hydroxychloroquine for 24 weeks. The goal was to see if baricitinib could better reduce disease activity and symptoms like dryness and fatigue.
