Summary
This study aims to understand if bariatric (weight-loss) surgery can help improve memory and thinking skills in people with obesity. Researchers will enroll 9,500 participants who have obesity and either have or are at risk for cognitive issues. They will compare test results before and after surgery to see if weight loss leads to better brain function.
