New balloon procedure aims to keep blocked heart arteries open

Summary
This study looked at a procedure to reopen arteries in the heart that were 100% blocked. Doctors used a special balloon coated with medicine to open the artery without leaving a permanent metal stent behind. The main goal was to see how well the artery stayed open and if patients needed another procedure within 6 months.
