Video games vs. push training: which helps kids with cerebral palsy balance better?
NCT ID NCT07401108
Summary
This study tested two different balance training methods for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Sixty children aged 6-10 received standard physical therapy plus either Wii Balance Board games or reactive 'push-and-recover' training for eight weeks. Researchers measured which approach better improved the children's balance control and ability to perform daily activities like climbing stairs.
