Wii games vs. push training: which helps kids with cerebral palsy balance better?

NCT ID NCT07401108

Summary

This study tested whether playing balance games on a Wii board or doing reactive 'push-and-recover' training works better to improve balance and daily activities in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Sixty children, aged 6-10 with mild symptoms, did one of the two balance activities along with their regular physical therapy for 8 weeks. Researchers measured their balance control and how well they could do tasks like reaching and climbing stairs to see which method was more helpful.
